In 2009, The Starchild Children's Foundation will be supporting Projects that assist children within their communities in Brazil. This is the result of a decision taken in 2008 to extend the work of the Starchild Children's Foundation into Latin America.

The first Project is the "Lar dos Anjos" home for Children with HIV/Aids in Foz do Iguacu, in the south of Brazil. The home provides care for children from the community whose parents are too poor to be able to provide adequate care for them. We will be visiting this project in April of 2009.
