PAINTING THE SOUP KITCHEN WITH THE COMMUNITY AND THE CHILDREN

Today was the day that Starchild Global got together with members of the Community and the children of Sir Lowry's Pass Village and decorated the freshly painted containers that make up the Soup Kitchen and Play area.

It was a bright and hot summer's day, just right for the work that needed to be done!

We created outlines, but most of the painting was done by the children themselves...with a little help from the parents!

It was definitely a chance for the Community to work together on creating a new energy in this place.

The children really enjoyed this opportunity to express their creativity!

Here dad, Faizal, carries daughter, Iman, on his back, African style , while he works and mom, Elaine, paints. Emily prepares lunch for the hungry artists!

Here mom, Elaine, takes a break with Iman...and then back to work on her butterfly!
