This has been a busy year for our Children's Project here in Africa. This is one of my favorite images, taken recently, of some of the children with the Project Co-ordinator, Wilma Papier. Wilma and the children of her group stand with the organic vegetables that they grew in their own vegetable garden.

We employ locals from the community to do the heavy digging and work in the garden, but the children help with the planting, weeding, watering and harvesting. It is "their" garden, and they eat from it as well as sharing their produce with people in need in the community.

Here is an image from when we first started planting this garden, in late Winter.

The money that you contribute is used to maintain the garden, and to provide food for our Community Food Support Scheme. As I explained in the Earth Log, we are providing "Food Security" for a group of 45 children in the community. There are three women who act as "group mothers" and who cook for the children and are there for them as to assist and to act as community role models. We try to provide at least one high quality meal a week for each child in the groups. Here is an image of the attractive food that is prepared for the children, thanks to your contributions:

In the course of this year, we also provided an Easter party for the children, we supported their Community Youth Day function, and their Spring Ball which the older children prepared themselves. We work closely with Wilma's "Youth Development" Forum to assist the young people of this community from very young, up to about the age of twenty.

I can say that Starchild Global is making a difference in this community. We are helping to bring the energy of the New Earth to a new generation of young people here in South Africa, and for this I thank you, those of you who have donated so generously so that we can support these people through our program.

We are, at this time, preparing a Christmas party for 100 children, which we will hold on the 23rd of December.

I would like to appeal to you, if you feel so motivated, to support our Children's Project for this function and into the New Year. In January, Wilma and I will be having a meeting to discuss our projects for 2008. What we can do will be determined by your support.

In Love and Gratitude
