Christmas at the Children's Project

Thanks to the generosity of the Starchild Readers who contributed to the Project, we were able to hold a wonderful party for 100 children at our Community in Sir Lowry's Pass. An especial thanks to Maria Lombana in Argentina, who helped us at the last moment by transferring money when ours was held up, so that the party could go ahead! Muchas Gracias Maria!

This community is predominantly Christian, so this is a special time for them. It was a privilege for me to help to being some Light and Joy to these children's lives at this time, and with your help. I am going to let the pictures tell the story.

So, thanks to more Starchild Readers! In October I published this image of a child looking a bit sad because she could not dress up and be special at our Spring celebration. I just loved her beautiful face.

A very beautiful couple in Brazil, whose names were not included in their parcel, sent a gift of new clothes for this child. Here she is, wearing some of her new clothes, and holding others. You can see that she is delighted with her gift of love from the other side of the Ocean! Thank you to both of you in Brazil! Muito Obrigado!~

Now, thanks also to Katja Marx and her son, Benedict, in Germany. Katja and Bendedict sent a parcel of toys and some sweets for the children. Here one of the children also shows her delight with this gift from another child in Germany. Danke Schon, Katja and Benedict!

And, thank you also to Laurian Jones in South Korea who sent us a box full of toys for the Children. Wilma is keeping them at her home so that they are available for children in the community, and we are adding to the collection! Thank you, Laurian.....here is an image of some of the younger children playing with the toys.
