December 30th : Navigating the Chaos through Choice.....and our new Starchild Baby... : So, in these last few days of the old cycle of energy, we can say that we are truly feeling the pressure of the new energy that arrives.

In many ways, as I look back, I can feel a sadness for all that has gone and all that we have been through, and at the same time, I can feel a great joy as we perceive the new energy about to open out and manifest for us.

The channel that Archangel Michael gave for January helped me to really understand how we have grown and changed, and how we are making new choices. I always used to wonder why, when we reached an important moment of energy change, there seemed to be an outbreak of chaotic and negative energy. Well, in the old dualistic third-dimensional way of thinking, it was easy to blame "the dark" and their plots to overthrow the light. When you move into Unity Consciousness and you perceive that you need to begin to think in new ways, you take a higher dimensional perspective, a Fifth-dimensional perspective. From here, you can see that when a powerful energy gate is reached, the "Possibility Field" of pure potential opens up. All the various possibilities that are held on the planet by individuals and groups are up for renewal and new choices. And so it does indeed appear chaotic and difficult, as we try to navigate through this field of simaltaneous and powerful potential. Everyone is making choices....Those who are out of balance are also given the opportunity to make choices, and their choices tend to be unbalanced and chaotic and to produce violence and hysteria. How we respond to those choices is indeed up to us. We can become equally unbalanced and fall into the hysteria, or we can hold the balance and seek to remain peaceful and calm, while making our own choices.

I think that the aftermath of 9/11 taught us this lesson. After the anger and the violence and the hysteria had cleared, we saw that the "great danger" was mostly an illusion, and we were left with more violence and more war. The choices of the unbalanced, motivated by anger, were stronger than the choices for peace. Not a good choice to make as a planet. Now, at this time, hopefully more of us will be able to see through the illusions and make different choices this time. Maybe we can Dream Peace and truly Choose for Peace, by making that choice in our lives. That does not mean we are weak, and that the unbalanced can just push us around as they choose. A Choice for Peace and Love is a Powerful Choice, if you can hold that Choice and live that choice in your own lives.

Yes, the skill here is that your mind and your emotions will support the choice of your heart. It is no good to choose Peace and then to live out anger and aggression and fear. Then your choice is not consistent with the reality that you are creating. So, to train your mind and your emotions to support the choices of your Heart, you need the self-discipline to be aware of how your life needs to be created, in order to support your choices, and to make more choices to live in such a way that your life supports the unfolding of the Reality that you have chosen.

Yes....Choose, Choose and Choose again...seems to be the name of the game! Indeed, this is the true meaning of "Free Choice"....the Freedom to choose how and what you will create in your life as an individual and as a group or planet.

I have found, in my own life as well, that I am being given the chance to make new choices very rapidly right now. It is strange how old situations have come up, again, things that I thought I had dealt with effectively. But, at this time, they are coming up quickly and powerfully, and I am having to make my choices with speed and precision. I am having to rely on the heart and the feelings, because in the chaos of all potential, I don't have the time to go with the linear thinking of the mind. We have to go with the flow of feeling and intuition, and make our choices. But, we have been given this last cycle of light to learn to know our hearts, and to be confident that the choices we make from our hearts will be the right choices for us.

So, as Archangel Michael says, the exercise of Choice is so important right now. The Choices that we make in this time of pure potential will activate the spirals of light called "Probability Fields", and they in turn will manifest a new reality in 2008. May we choose with the wisdom of the heart, and with knowledge of Who We Are. If we choose in this way, we can be sure that we will receive abundant blessings in the year that comes!

Here at Starchild, one of the choices that we have made and is about to manifest in the the creation of our new website "Starchild Iberoamerica", for the Spanish-speaking peoples of the planet. We are really looking forward to the arrival of this new "baby". In the past years, the Spanish channels and Earth Logs were carried by "El Manantiel Caduceo" in Argentina, and they will continue to do so, and we do thank them for all the wonderful support they have given us. But, from the 1st of January, the material will also be available here on Starchild, with all the other Starchild energies and fun!

So....we are ready to welcome and manifest our new "arrival" as part of the new energy of the new cycle : 1:1:1.

December 27th : The Passing of Benazir Bhutto : So...the chaotic energy and the surges manifest in events that will change the shape of Earth's manifest destiny.

The loss to the Planet of the first woman to lead a Muslim country is no small event. She was a Brave and Beautiful woman and a Fearless Leader. She will be missed.

How will this event affect the Planet's unfolding path. We have yet to see. I have been told by Archangel Michael that the events unfolding in Pakistan are crucial to the evolution of the Planet.

We can only hold our own Inner Peace and keep our confidence in the Manifestation of the New Earth.

All is in Divine Order and All is as it Should Be.

I am reminded that one of the medieval beliefs about the appearance of a Comet in the sky was that it portended the death of a King or Leader, and that this death would bring great change in its wake.....

Here are some lines sent to me by Elizabeth Feisst from a poem that she wrote herself, and which she dedicates to Benazir Bhutto:

December 27th : A Power Surge on the Network....and the Approach of Comet Tuttle for New Year. Yesterday was quite a day. After the Peace of Christmas, the chaos of yesterday was in marked contrast!

People reported "symptoms" ranging from extreme tiredness and inability to wake up, to overstimulation and bouncing off the walls. For myself, I had a headache, but that might have been because our Server crashed and I spent most of the day trying to get the website back up again. With the help of Starchild's German Computer Angel called Oliver. Oliver knows how to work with the Ukrainians who service the ISP, they talk techno speak together, and Oliver gets far more done than I can as I try to explain what is wrong in ordinary English. Thank You, Oliver!

Anyway, I started to feel dizzy and spacey, and went to bed early. When I got up to go to the bathroom, I was staggering around like I was drunk. I woke up with my Light Body vibrating and buzzing...and finally realized that there was something up in the Cosmic realms.

So, I went off to the Spaceweather site to see what was going on "out there" to cause such energy movements in the Light Body. Well, no sun spots and no solar flares or magnetic storms, that part is quiet. But, there is a Comet approaching Earth, and it will make its "fly past" on the 1st of January - the 1:1:1. So, it seems like we will be having a Cosmic visitor to help us to celebrate the coming of the New Year and a New Cycle of Creation and Transformation.

The best way to work with this energy is to stay grounded. Don't try to do too much, eat regularly and drink fresh water. Listen to your body, but also try to stay calm and centered.

We are Moving through the Gateway of the New...the 1:1:1!

It will be a Great year as we begin to Manifest the New Earth!

December 26th : The Art of Living with Simplicity and Grace : Well, this is the day after Christmas. For me, Christmas day was itself a peaceful and beautiful day, except for one small incident. I think back to 2004, and remember the Tsunami that ocurred on the 26th of December, at a time when the planet, and we ourselves, we so unbalanced. And, on this day, I hope that the time has indeed come when we can create Peace on our Earth. Archangel Michael has been speaking to me about Balance and how to hold balance in our lives, and that will be part of the channel for January.

But, back to Christmas day, and the idea of living simply. I joined my neighbours for a traditional Christmas lunch. Here is South Africa, it is midsummer, and so the "tradition" is a barbecue and salads, followed by fruit salad and ice cream. All designed for outdoor living and Christmas in the garden, under the trees. It was simple, and very beautiful and tranquil and harmonious. There was enough food, but it was not the lavish excess that one sometimes associates with Christmas. It was enough and it was good, and so was the company. I enjoyed what I ate, and I enjoyed being there, and then I went home and enjoyed the peace and the rest.

And so, I began to think about the whole idea of living with Simplicity. This was highlighted for me, as I checked out the CNN news and read an article about how the planet cannot sustain more consumerism. The article spoke about how increased consumerism as a solution to global poverty was just not possible, as the planet could not sustain higher levels of consumption and, yes, greed. I was glad to read that. Two years ago, when I came back from a working trip to Hungary, I bought a book at Frankfurt airport to read on the plane. It was called "The End of Poverty", by some hotshot academic from the USA, who advocated global consumerism and turning the entire planet into an ongoing sweatshop environment. I am therefore relieved to see that this is no longer considered to be the best option to alleviate poverty.

I think we all realize that we cannot sustain the consumerist dream. In my own life, I have come to realize that I will never have the affluence and luxury that the media portrays as "normal", and that is OK. I live in Africa, where there are great disparities between extreme wealth and extreme poverty. But, if you look around, you begin to realize that there is actually enough for everyone, if we were to release our aspirations for more and more and more.

The idea of "abundance" has come to be associated with material wealth and consumerism in our society and in our minds. Many of us think of "abundance" as being able to have whatever we want in material terms. I think that is more like greed. When you are honest, you realize that you do not need all that "stuff", and that the average human needs for food and shelter would be easily met if we were to create a society without consumerism and the continual creation of greed and need.

I have come to think of "abundance" in human terms, as love and companionship and sharing. When you have this kind of abundance, then your material needs are always met anyway. It can be miraculous!

Last week, Wilma, our Children's project organizer, and I were contemplating a bleak Christmas. The company that organizes my payments and donations has not paid me for two months, and money was low. We had almost enough to do our party for the children, but not enough left over for us. I told a friend in Argentina about the situation, and she immediately wired me some money. The party went ahead and Wilma was able to create a wonderful Christmas lunch for her family and friends as well. I went to my neighbours, and all was well! It was the result of a network of caring and sharing people. It was indeed abundance!

And so, on this quiet morning, I am enjoying an abundance of Peace and Quiet, as my neighbourhood is peaceful as people sleep and rest. I am enjoying the Simple Grace of life on Planet Earth.

I hope that you too are enjoying the energy of this Holiday time, as we move now towards January and the New Year! And here is my own vote for "Woman of the Year" in Africa. This is my friend Wilma, who runs our Children's project in her Community. She is a real example of the Goddess and Mother energy. She is grounded, compassionate, generous and caring. She is a natural Leader, and people in her community respect her and work with her. In this image, she is sitting with a disabled child that came to the party. In this community, the disabled are integrated into the community as much as possible.

So, from us, I would also like to thank all of you who donated to our Children's Project in 2007! You help us to help them! That is abundance!

December 24th and 25th : Christmas in Africa....and Hawaii....and wherever you are....Peace on Earth. : On this Sacred and Beautiful day before Christmas, I wish you all a blessed Christmas and a day of Peace and Love, wherever You Are.

May we all remember that the birth of Christ was a moment that allowed for an awareness of a change of Consciousness, and that we are experiencing the culmination of that change right now. We are learning to access the Christ light within ourselves.

So, on this Christmas of 2007, I wish for you all that you may experience and radiate the brilliant light that lives in each one of you.

I thought I would share with you some of the energy of Christmas, here in Africa. The Community that I work in with the Starchild Children's Project is traditionally Christian, and so Christmas is part of their traditional celebrations. Starchild hosted a party for 100 of the less privileged children in this Community. So...here is Wilma, our co-ordinator, having some party fun with the children:

December 22nd : Solstice Dreaming with the Whales and Dolphins.... : So here we are...at the point of the Solstice...a moment of Radiant Light and Balance and Love. A time for Dreaming Joy!

Thank you to all of you who have offered to Dream with us and the Cetaceans and the Oceans today. I know there are so many of you who love the Oceans and the Cetaceans.

I love the way the Humpback approaches the boat with complete trust and playfulness! And here is one that I took myself of two Southern Right Whales playing in the water close to the shoreline at Rocky Bay, near to where I live:

So many of you have written in to say that the Japanese government has cancelled the whale hunt. Well, they have cancelled the hunt for Humpbacks, which is wonderful, but the whale hunt itself is still going on.

So, on this day of Peace and Balance, if you feel so moved in your heart and soul, please join us in somwe quiet meditation sendinjg Love and Gratitude and Joy to the Cetaceans and the Oceans. It is Love and Gratitude that will create the Beauty of the New Earth. We can Dream this Dream together for our Planet!

December 20th : The Solstice Whale Meditation ...and some Christmas Joy.... : As the Solstice approaches, I would like to invite you all to join us in a global meditation for the Whales and Dolphins, the creatures of the Oceans and the Oceans themselves. "Us" is a team of three people who have shared our common love for the Oceans and the Cetaceans, Anne Matheson of Australia, Kauwila of the Big Island in Hawaii USA, and myself, here in Cape Town, South Africa.

Kauwila was asked by Spirit to receive and transmit the beautiful music that you can use for the meditation. Anne has set up a site called www.createwithnature.com, where you can learn more about her organization for the meditation that she is holding at 6.08 UT on the 22nd of December. Here at Starchild, I have created two meditation pages with the music, which you can use to focus a meditation on the 22nd, or at any time that you would like to spend time sending Love and Gratitude into the Oceans and to the Cetaceans and the creatures of the Oceans. So, please join us in sending out Peace and Love and Dreaming Peace and Love for our Oceans, at this powerful time of the Solstice. Let it also be a time when we can go inside ourselves and find that deep Peace and Love at our Core and share that with others. Let's Open our Hearts and feel the Love and Compassion that is Who We Are at this time!

And so, we are also moving towards Christmas, so for those of you who do Christmas, I would like to wish you a Joyous and Festive and Wonderful Christmas. For those of you who don't do Christmas, and I know there are many of you around the world in the Starchild readership....well, humor us, we are having fun! The idea is Peace and Love, and that is what we aim to create.

So, also, thank you to Elizabeth in Spain for the lovely Christmas Card...and to all of you in Argentina and Chile, "Feliz Navidad para Todos", and I will be meeting you soon!

I spent the morning putting up my own Christmas tree, and just had so much fun and joy. So, here I would like to share with you my tree, and say:

And now, last of all, I would like to share my own favorite Christmas song with you. It's by an American indie group called "Grey Eye Glances" and it's called "Our Own Place and Time (A Christmas Song)". I think this is the essence of Christmas for most of us, being with those that we love and enjoying the "patterns and the lights....the colors and comforts... in our own place and time". Many of you will be in the middle of your winter, maybe enjoying snow and warm fires. Some, like me, are in the middle of our summer, and we are enjoying bright blue skies and warm sunny days. But, wherever, we are, the essence of Love and Sharing remains the same.

So, enjoy the music!

December 16th : Cosmic Fire...Cosmic Water.....and the Divine Feminine Energy...... : December is such an energetically "busy" month, with the 12:12, the Solstice and Christmas, closely followed by New Year. At this time we are in the passage leading up to the Solstice. The energy of Solstice is about Balance, and about finding an inner quite center.

I think this is often the reason why people find the traditional Christmas holiday season so difficult. At a time when we are meant to be finding inner peace and calm, we are all rushing around, socializing and shopping until we drop, eating and drinking too much, and generally becoming frazzled rather than peaceful. For various personal reasons, the major one being that I am tired from all the world travelling I did in 2007, I have decided to be a "recluse" this month. I have "retired" to the safe sanctuary that my home provides. I am sleeping well, getting up late, having lazy summer breakfasts in my garden and generally allowing myself to tune in to the "pulse" of nature. I am beginning to feel the peace and the calm that is available, despite the summer holiday and Christmas chaos that is going on all around me.

Having said that, I have noticed, as many of you might have, that the energy has been distinctly weird in the last few days. All sorts of things are happening on the Cosmic and Solar levels.....The Sun, after being quiet for most of the year, produced a Sunspot that gave off minor solar flares. At the same time, the Geminid meteor shower has been one of the most spectacular for years. So, I have found that I am expereincing a kind of high tension on the level of the lightbody, together with a sense of void and emptiness....as I said, distinctly weird.

But, by now I have learnt to deal with these feelings. The high tension is caused by the solar flares illuminating the light body, and so yesterday was one of the hottest days I have experienced this summer and I had a headache. Today, it was the opposite, I woke up and it was cool and raining.....so there it was - Fire and Water in rapid succession.

Archangel Michael has been transmitting information to me about 2008, and one of the important things he stresses is the idea of Balance. So, in this weather pattern, he was showing me how to balance the solar and lunar energies, or Fire and Water. There will be more about this in January, but for now, when you feel the excess of Light energy in your Solar Light Body, being in or around water helps a great deal. And that means don't just look at it...swim, shower, drink it, you need the water to balance out the fire. The same applies when you are too "watery", and feel depressed and hollow and empty. The "void" is part of the lunar feminine, the moment of potential, and you can be with it but if you spend too much time there you can become depressed. So, the answer is Fire, warmth, passion, creativity, sex and other solar activities.

Also, what Michael asked me to consider is what happens when the Feminine or Masculine energies become unbalanced. With the Masculine, the energy becomes controlling and dominating and inflexible. With the Feminine, it becomes chaotic and things disintegrate and become heavy and immobile. The result in both cases is a block of the flow of Creative Energy and Information.

Now, in this last cycle of transformation, I think most of us became familiar with the choas, the heaviness, the depression and the anxiety. We called them "ascension symptoms". What they were, was our bodies trying to cope with the influx of the "new" electro-magnetic energies that we needed to create balance - the solar feminine and the lunar masculine. These allowed the feminine energy to reclaim its passion and power, and the masculine to reclaim its gentleness and beauty. But, as we struggled to hold these energies within our newly opened heart chakras, we did quite often go out of balance. That was ok, we were given all the help that we needed to try to regain our balance. In the future, when we experience any of the symptoms of imbalance, we will have a better idea of what to do in order to regain the balance and stay in balance.

The key is the Heart Center. If you can find and hold the balance of masculine and feminine energies at that level, then you will stay in balance. That is the purpose of Archangel Michael's "Sacred Heart" meditation. The answer is always Love....and Love is expressed through Light and, yes, Water. The Light carries the information from Spirit and the Water in our bodies receives and imprints the information or codes. The Light is received into the open heart Chakra and transmitted into the bloodstream by the Heart. The other chakras, notably the Pineal and the Pituitary, also send out information as light codes to the bloodstream, and the body receives the instructions as to how to stay in balance.

So, what might block the transmission of the Light Codes. Well, acccording to Archangel Michael, it is when the Heart is not open, then the light codes are received only by other channels and chakras. A common imbalance is caused when the body receives too much light from the Pineal and Crown Chakra, and not enough through the Heart source. Then, the body experiences those feelings of electricity and convulsions. This can happen to people who meditate a great deal but without an open heart. The same goes for the feelings of spaciness, imbalance and dizziness that are part of the "ascension symptom" scenario.

Those whose hearts are too wide open, and yes there are some, will tend to experience "watery" symptoms....weeping, sadness and depression and feeling unable to cope in the choas. In these cases, there is not enough "fire" coming in through the other chakras, because the person is operating only from the Heart. Balance is important. The Fire energy needs to come in from other levels as well.

What I found interesting is that chaos is an imbalance of the Feminine energy, and I think that those people who are always in fear of chaos and disaster probably have a deep inner unease with the Feminine energy. I think it is why so many people dream of tsunamis and tidal waves and floods. As I travelled this year, I was amazed at how consistent the fear of chaos caused by tsunami is in the collective psyche, and how the idea of Global Warming (more fire) produces a fear of floods and choas (water imbalance).

As we have come to understand how we hold and create reality from within us, we can also understand how we can hold and create balance in our outer world as well.

It is an interesting art of balance, as we learn to work with the Cosmic Fire and the Cosmic Water from which reality is woven on the Physical Plane.

When the Fire and Water are in balance, then we can express ourselves from and through Cosmic Love in a balance of Head and Heart. And the body will remain balanced and peaceful no matter what is experienced in the outer reality. This is the energetic skill of the Master of Light, and according to Archangel Michael, these will be the skills that we will work with in the coming year.

Now, to go back to the Sun and the Solar energy, it is interesting that there is a hint that we might be entering a new Solar Cycle as we move towards the new year, and that this cycle will take us through to 2011 and 2012. According to Nasa, the Sun had manifested a "reversed maganetism at high latitude". This is often an indicator of a new sunspot cycle, but as yet no sunspot has formed, so we are all waiting to see....will it or won't it. here is the image, borrowed from Nasa:

If this manifests as a sunspot, it will be the beginning of Sunspot Cycle 24, which is predicted to be a big and very active one. So...we wait and see....

And now, to close, some beautiful energy of the Divine Feminine. I have been working with the Mary Magdalene energy most of this year, which is a Solar and Passionate and Erotic energy. Now, as Christmas approaches, maybe it is time to give some though to the Divine Mother energy, as personified by "Mother Mary", Isis, and other Mother Goddesses. It is gentle, loving and nurturing energy, that of the Universal Mother. I found this video that was made in Australia in 2006, and expresses the Eastern energy of the Great Mother through images of water and dance...the dance of Feminine Love on the Waters of the Cosmos:

December 12th : Dreaming as One.....The Twin Flame Energy and Imagining Peace for the 12:12 : I thought that since this is such a special time when we are all, each of us, experiencing the inner Twin Flame energy at the 12 :12, that it would be wonderful to think also about the Twin Flame as it manifests in Romantic Relationships as well. So many people who write to me about the Soul Mate and Twin Flame Union, express the desire to meet their "other half" in the belief that this will guarantee them great bliss and joy. Well, certainly it does, but that is not really the point of a Twin Flame union!

You can be sure, that when you meet with your Twin Flame, that there is work to be done. There is a purpose that exists on the Higher Planes of Soul and Spirit, and this far outweighs any personal or individual desires and needs.

One of the things I didn't mention about my birthday, Decemer 8th, was that it is also the date on which John Lennon died, in 1980. John Lennon was one of those pioneering avatar souls who had a global impact and whose presence is still being felt among us, for his own music and writing, and for the great love between himself and his Twin Flame, Yoko Ono. I think their relationship, as it continues even today, is a demonstration of what Twin Flame love is all about. I would like to thank Deb, the Lion lady of the USA, for sending me the links to "Imagine Peace" and the Story about the Imagine Peace Tower, which I am going to share with you now.

I am going to include four video links to help you to "feel", within your heart and through the music....the unfolding story of a Great Twin Flame Love and the effect on the planet of the Musician, the Artist and the Politician, who were, and are, part of and touched by this Great Love.

So, for those of you who don't know, or have forgotten, John Lennon, singer and songwriter, was intially part of the British pop group "The Beatles", and Yoko Ono is the Japanese Conceptual Artist who became his second wife.

Listen to this beautiful song, written by John, for Yoko, but also as he says, for all Women. It expresses the deep love of the Masculine Energy for the Woman who is, as he observes, the "other half of the sky".

Now, this is where the Love Story starts to get interesting, in spiritual terms.....John Lennon was a "Peace Activist"....and he wrote this beautiful song called "Imagine", about the idea of Peace on a Global scale. Sounds ahead of its time, back there in the early 1970s, but its time has now come! Here is John performing this beautiful song in the presence of his great love, Yoko. I love the symbolism in this video....for it is their love that creates "Heaven" here on Earth, and as Yoko opens the windows it is as though the Divine Feminine Goddess brings in the Radiant Light to illuminate the gifts and talents of her Beloved Partner:

Wow! This one is so beautiful it gives me goose bumps.....

Now, as mentioned earlier, and as most people know, John Lennon was murdered outside his home in New York, on the 8th of December 1980. And I remember that well, I have always loved John's music, and I was sad that he had to leave in such a way on my birthday! Anyway....that was how the plan seemed to go for this great Twin Flame love, for after John left, it was Yoko who was left to keep the flame of his ideas and "Imaginings" alive on Earth.

And so, time went by and people began to change......

And so, fast forward, to October 2007....and the "Imagining Peace" Tower, a Conceptual Art work built by Yoko Ono in Reykjavik, Iceland, to celebrate their Love and John's vision for a World where all could live "as one" and in peace. In this video, Yoko explains her original idea for the tower, and how John asked her to build it. And so she did....it became the emblem of their Love and their Twin Flame work for Global Peace and Love. Its time is NOW:

Now.....this is where things become really interesting. Enter the politician...Presidential Candidate for the USA, Dennis Kucinich, talking about the idea behind the "Imagine Peace" Tower and his support for the work of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

Wait a moment.....is that the same USA that tried to kick John Lennon out of New York? Is that the same USA that considered him a dangerous radical? Yup....but it seems like something has changed.

Maybe "Imagine Peace" is an idea whose time has finally come.

Whether Dennis Kucinich manages to become President or not, he is opening up a space in politics for politicians to speak seriously about the concepts and ideas that we all know. He invites us all to "Imagine Peace" with him, as the first step to creating Global Peace.....sound familiar?

We have to want and desire it from our hearts....and then we have to Dream it together.....!

December 9th : Thank You....and Look What's Swimming in my Pool now!....... : This is just a brief entry to say thank you so much to all the people who sent me birthday wishes and cards.....I enjoyed them all! And, to those people in Argentina and Chile, who remembered my "cumpleanos", I hope to be meeting you all in April!

Now....you may remember the goose that was swimming in my pool a few days ago....well here is the latest swimming friend in my pool!

He is a young Golden Retriever, and anyone who has ever had one will know that they love to swim. Its summer here now, and every time I open the door he hurls himself into the pool.

My neighbour "rescued" him from where he was living with some homeless people near the river. They said that they bought him for a very small amount from someone in the street. Because my neighbour already has two dogs, he brought him to me to care for. We are looking for his owners, as we suspect he must be either a stray or stolen, but so far he is enjoying life with me. He was dehydarated and disoriented when he came to me, but he has balanced out and he is a lovely dog!

We go swimming together...I have never had a dog that went for a swim with me before! But that is his favorite form of exercize!

December 8th : Happy Birthday to me....and more on Communities....and some Animal Birthday Fun! : The 8th of December is a day that is sacred to Mary in many Latin countries. It is also held sacred in West African tradition in connection with the Goddess and the planet Venus, and is the birthday of the Japanese sun goddess, Amaterasu. So it seems like a good day to have a birthday! Also, on this day both the Sun and the Moon are in Sagittarius, with the ruling planet Jupiter right on the Galactic Center with Pluto. I did wonder at the beginning of the year how I would feel on this birthday, but so far its been quiet but really great. For most of us Sagittarians, with Jupiter transitting through our natal house, it has been a year of expansion. I feel like I expanded and expanded...and so I am quite happy to be quietly at home for my birthday.

Wilma and the kids at the Project helped me to celebrate my birthday yesterday. Wilma made a cake and they all sang "Happy Birthday" to me, and then the cake was enthusiastically eaten, leaving one piece for me to take home!

The image was taken indoors, so it is a bit blurred. It is a very "South African" picture, as the "Castle Lager" box that is holding the cake is from a local brewery that is very well known here! Any ex-pats will immediately recognize. It was a very simple celebration, and I enjoyed the simplicity and the genuine love that went with it:

So, to the topic of Community - I received a good response from many of you for the piece I wrote about communities, and so I thought I would just add some more, to say what I feel and think about the idea of what a community might mean in the New Earth, and what I have experienced myself.

Archangel Michael has talked to me about "Communities of Light", but without ever saying what exactly they were. As usual with guidance from Spirit, they give us the broad outlines, and we have to fill in the details. That is what we are here for, to co-create with Spirit as we evolve. So, I don't think anyone has the definitive solution as to what a New Earth community will be like. I suspect there are many different models that are all being tried out now, and that we will evolve towards the best solution for us, and there well may be more than one, there may be many models that "work".

One thing I feel pretty sure about, is that these models will include city living and how to make cities into places where New Earth citizens can feel comfortable and happy. What I am also pretty sure about is that these communties will be diverse and that they will be sustainable and ecologically balanced!

Diversity means that all sorts of people will co-exist together, that is the essence of the Fifth Dimension. The idea of a community based on one religion or spiritual perspective is not really viable. It is part of our past. In my own country, the white population is largely derived from groups of people who were seeking religious space, and the USA was based on the same energy. It is an energy that has been proven to create separatism and produced social experiments as diverse as "witch burning" and "apartheid", all based on the fears of a particular group around the security of its religious faith and practices. On an Earth where all faiths and paths are equally respected, there will be no need for this kind of fear, and for separatist communities. We will all share our Light with all people.

So...the future community will integrate rather than separate! Diverse people who can respect each other's views and beliefs will live together and work together for a common future. And these communities will become Communities of Light when enough awakened individuals begin to take leadership roles within these communties, wherever they are, whether in big cities or in small rural villages. The underlying principles will be the same, for we are all connected.

So, let me tell you a little about my own experience with community. Around 2001, when life in South Africa got really tough in many ways, many of my friends started talking about setting up "intentional communities" where we could live our dreams. A home in a natural setting that was built on ecological principles and used natural sources of power. It sounded wonderful. It was very very expensive. You had to have the money to buy the land, before you even though about building. I remember looking at one such project, that required an initial investment of a Million, and that was before you built your house. It was a rich person's game, and that meant that I wasn't playing that one! Not many people were, it faded.

Option number two was a migration to small towns and "dorpies" in the country, where you could buy a house relatively cheaply and still commute to cities that were a few hours away. Well, that was intially an option, and I tried it for a while, but Spirit told me to go back to the city where I was needed. It has also now become and expensive option, as property prices climb, as more people seek this way of living, so that once more it is something for the rich.

So, the question is, since the majority of people on the planet are not rich and are living in cities...what could be a solution. I am working here on the belief that there is not going to be any huge disasters to "solve" the problem, and that we will have to solve it ourselves in some way.

So, here is what I have been working with in my Starchild Children's Project here in Cape Town. Our project is located in a lower income township called "Sun City", which is a mixture of squatter camp and low income government housing projects. It is not inner city living, but we are part of the greater City of Cape Town. In this community which is very poor, people survive because they have a sense of community. They care for each other and leaders emerge who take the intiative in starting projects to assist the community to develop and grow. This is done outside of any government support, it is purely community based. In South Africa, there is a strong tradition of "community" and "community structures" in the lower income groups, it is their survival mechanism.

In such a community you are supported whether you have been there 10 days or 10 years. You can be sure that someone will help you if you are in need. Of course, everyone knows everyone else and their business, that is the essence of community life. When I go there, they all know who I am and why I am there. They wave, they greet me, they know me. It helps me to feel safe with them. This is South Africa, and we have a high crime rate, but within a community you can be relatively sure that you will be protected.

The project that I run with Wilma is to support the children of the area. With the money we raise, we run three support groups of 15 children each and a vegetable garden. Each group is headed by a woman in the community who is the "group mother". She undertakes to act as a mentor for her group, and she provides one full meal a week for each child. She is also available for the child should there be no food in the child's own home. In this way, we provide "food security" for the children of the area if their own parents cannot do this.

The vegetable garden provides food for our programs, but we also share our produce with the community. When we have a good crop, then there is lots to share. This last month we have had a bumper crop of beetroot and spinach, which we have shared. The children are involved in maintaining the garden and ensuring that it is watered, but they also learn to share by giving the vegetables away to those who need. We teach them about plants and gardening and food, and we help to instill community values. And all this is done within the structure of a modern city. We are bringing "light" in the form of support and education, in the hope of creating a strong community for the future, and a better future for these children, who are learning to care for each other and to work with the Earth.

December 4th : Looking Backwards.....Moving Forwards....and some Whales, Geese and Lions.... : So, here we are in December! With the powerful alignments and energies that are around right now, I had expected to be feeling the turbulence. But, I find that I am feeling immensely peaceful and calm, it is, as Archangel Michael says, as if we have moved into the Heart of Light. I hope that in this month of December, with its holidays and sacred times, that we can continue to hold that sacred heart space within us, and create a time of Peace and Joy for ourselves and those around us. I have found also, that working with Archangel Michael's "Sacred Heart" meditation has helped me enormously to stay in my center and keep a sense of balance within myself.

So, at this time, we do stand at a point of looking back, so that we can move forward. Looking back over the last ten years, and the journey of Change and Transformation. Looking back at where we have been, so that we can know ourselves well enough to be able to go forward. In the past, those who were given training as "initiates", in the Spiritual traditions, were always urged to "know themselves", to learn and discover the unique essence of who they were, in order to be able to live "in truth", or an authentic life. Of course, the paradox is, that the more you come to know yourself and who you are, the more you discover how unique you are, the more you also discover that you are "one" with all other life in the Cosmic web. It almost seems like being able to be "unique" rests on being able to be conscious that you are born of, and part of, the "One". It is indeed a "dance" of complementary opposites, blending to create a powerful fusion of Love.

So, what made me think of this topic was an invitation to a "Goddess Conference" that found its way into my inbox yesterday. I enjoy "Goddess" energy and working with the Divine Feminine, but when I looked at the program it seemed to be very much a "going backwards" to reconnect with the past. There is nothing wrong with that, what we have held sacred as humans should always be honored and cherished, and sometimes needs to be rediscovered so that we can honor it once again. The re-connection of the Divine Feminine energies has been such a process. But, sometimes it is not enough to just rest in the past. We are creative beings, we need to re-create these connections so that they are meaningful for us in the 21st century. It is easy, perhaps, to feel like a Goddess when you are dancing around a maypole or doing a fire ceremony, but how do we translate this into our every day lives? How do we feel like "Goddesses" when we sit behind a computer with a mouse in our hands?

The same goes for the way we live, I was reading something about living in intentional communities, and I thought, we already live in "intentional communities"...we call them cities. Whether we like it or not, that is how most of us have chosen to live on planet Earth in the 21st century. They may be haphazard and chaotic communties, but "chaos theory" has shown us that no matter how chaotic something might appear, there is always an underlying order. In fact, the more chaotic sometimes, the more there is an underlying and very simple pattern. Being able to connect with this simple pattern at the heart, enables you to circumvent the chaos and live with the simplicity of the basic pattern. So, maybe we need to look at what we have already created, and see whether we cannot find the underlying pattern of community. We will probably find that within these huge cities, is a basic pattern on which we can begin to create a new way of "knowing ourselves" as creators of "intentional communities".

So, as we look back, we can see where we have been and what we long for......simple human connections and support from each other, a close relationship with Spirit and Nature, and to experience warmth and joy in our unique and precious lives. I know, in our period of change and transition, we have tended to reject city living as cold and sterile in favor of idyllic rural life, and that may be a choice for some, but the majority of us will continue to live in these close-knit and chaotic social formations that were created in the last century. How we transform them based on where we have been, and what we want for ourselves, will be the issue. Can we bring back a sense of the Sacred? Can we bring back Love and Support for each other? Can we re-create a loving bond with Nature and the Spirit world within these cities? This seems to be the transformative challenge of the New Earth, as we move forward.

I believe that this is what we are here for at this time, as we navigate this aspect of the Dream on planet Earth. And each of us has a role, no matter where we live.

So, now, the energy of the Whales is still very much around. I had many letters about the Japanese contribution to the Earth Logs in November, expressing a wide range of opinion and emotion. But, I have also recently had several letters from New Zealand, also a country with close connections to the Whale energy. Two of the letters mentioned that magical movie, "Whale Rider", which is based on the Maori legend of the creation of "humans", which for them is the Maori people. They see their original ancestor coming to New Zealand from their original "home" in the Pacific Ocean, riding on the back of a whale. Now to me, this is a metaphor for the understanding that whales brought human life from the original creation point to the point of Earth existence, at that moment when human life "emerged" from its Oceanic womb. The Maori story still carries the echo of this ancestral understanding within itself.

I received this beautiful letter from a Maori woman, and was touched by the way in which she was dealing with her own sacred traditions and her tribal past, as well as living in the present world. Her name is Hineraukura, and I asked her if I might share her letter with you here on the logs:

Dear Celia,

I wish to thank you so much for your words concerning the whale consciousness. several years ago I had a conscious experience that I have never been able to understand, except how the event relates to my daughters heritage, I suppose.

After my daughter was born, I became increasingly annoyed with the sound of whales calling in my head .

20 mins before she was born, a whale had died in our local harbour, & the local tribe had buried the bones at a nearby beach. Well a week later, I was still hearing whales, so I told my cousin & we went to the beach, late at night, to see if I could "pick up" on something, at least try to understand why I was hearing whales. My cousin & I looked at each other when we got there & both said, "Ok, so what do we do now?" Then, as I looked past her into the night sky this white rainbow appeared, landing right upon the shallow water, where (we found out later) the bones had been placed, not buried. We were amazed, & gave thanks to Creator, & returned home.

The only significance we have been able to understand about this, ...The whale that had died, was the first whale to be returned for burial to the local tribe, & it gathered the tribe together to learn about the whales.Previously it had been the role of Government to dispose of these majestic creatures, & the tribes had no authority. So, it was a deeply spiritual experience for the people, re-establishing a relationship that had been removed through colonization. Traditionally, we had a very close relationship with whales, as in "the Whale Rider". Whales were respected as guardians, if they suffered we suffered. Strandings were a portent, & if whales died their bones etc. were never wasted. They were crafted into ornaments and highly prized.

Maybe there is a relationship between my daughter & the whale that died. She did have a rather prominent spine, and her aunties would joke that it was her "fin". I came to call her my whale baby. She is eleven years old now & refuses to eat anything that comes from the sea, lol.

All I know was to my relief, after that night, I did not hear the whales again, well, not all the time anymore, lol. I have had a lot of experiences such as this & have come to be known as eccentric or out there, so live very quietly, hermitic these days. It is encouraging to know of many that are now connecting globally, as lightworkers. Thank you so much, Namaste!!

Now, here is something fun that happened to me yesterday. I went out for a while, and then came home. I parked my car in the garage around the back, and went inside, put down my bag and turned on the lights, as it was early evening and getting dark inside. As I moved past the window, my peripheral vision registered that there was something brown in my pool in the front garden. I reversed to have a look, and sure enough, there was a large Egyptian Goose swimming around the pool, right next to the creepy pool cleaner thing. It seemed unperturbed, and swam around quite happily. I took this image through the window:

So, this is what the New Earth suburban swimming pool will be like! Actually, my goose was a happy visitor. It eventually climbed out of the pool, via the steps, and wandered around the lawn. When I went outside, I thought it would fly away, but it just looked at me and then went on with its stroll, so I left it alone to do its own thing in the garden. I felt deeply honored that this wild goose had felt relaxed and safe enough to visit my garden and share my "water hole" with me.

And, finally, here is a "Lion" clip sent to me by Deb of the USA. I love this clip, it shows a Lion in a "hug" with a human. To me, it shows that these beautiful animals are just as capable of bonding and expressing the heart bond as we are as humans. It truly is time for us to begin to re-think our relationships with the animal world, and to begin to see how we "share" the planet with other species who are equally able to feel and express the Great Love at the Heart of all things.
